compare_arrowsThe Group Text vs. Cohezy
The old way: "Hey guys, I'm free the 12th, 14th, or 19th — want to hang out?" Then everyone replies with what works for them. Ding, ding, ding. You dig back through the thread, try to piece together who said what, pick a date, and finally send out invites.
The Cohezy way:
- Use Find Free Time to get a list of dates where nobody's showing anything booked.
- Turn your favorites into a Date Poll and send it — no more typing out dates in a text.
- Everyone gets an in-progress event and votes for whatever actually works for them.
- Watch the results come in, select the winning date, and send the invites.

Worth knowing: Find Free Time is only as good as everyone's calendar upkeep — it can't see a plan that was never entered. That's exactly why the poll's real strength is ruling out the dates that definitely won't work, letting the group vote to confirm the rest.
how_to_voteHow to Create a Date Poll
- Open Find Free Time.
- Pick your days: Select which days of the week you'd like the event to occur — weekends only, weekdays only, whatever fits.
- Set a start/end time: Narrow the search to the hours that actually work, like evenings only.
- Choose how far out to search: Anywhere from 1 to 12 months ahead.
- Tap "Search for Dates."
- Select dates from the results. Pick just one and tap "Lock It In" to finalize the event right away — or select several and tap "Create a Date Poll" to let the group vote.
If you go the poll route: as votes arrive, the event page shows a live tally. Once you're ready, select the winning date and tap "Lock It In" to finalize and send calendar invites. (From a Group Chat, the same Date Poll works for voting — since a chat isn't tied to a calendar date, there's no automatic "Lock It In"; once the group agrees, create a full event with that date to send invites.)
