alt_routeChoose Your Path: Know the Date, or Need to Find One?
- I already know the date: A birthday, an anniversary, a reservation, a concert — the date isn't up for discussion, you just need to get everyone invited and track who's coming. Use Lock It In.
- I want to arrange a hangout: "Cabin Weekend" or "Game Night" — you have the idea, but the group still needs to land on a when, where, or what. Use Pre-plan to gather input first.
tips_and_updates
You can always start with Pre-plan and graduate it to a locked event once the group has decided. Tap "Lock It In" from the event page when you're ready.

- Give it a title and select the date and time.
- Add the people you want to invite.
- Location: If you already know where, add it now. Not sure yet? Create a poll to find the location that works best for everybody.
- Save the event — Cohezy handles sending the invites for you.
- Track RSVPs: Guests are asked to respond Going, Maybe, or Can't Go. You always know your headcount.
- Track Polling Results: If you left the location (or anything else) up to a poll, watch the results roll in right on the event page.

The app shows a conflict warning if someone's calendar is already busy on your chosen date — good to know upfront, even if the date itself isn't changing.

- Add a title and select the people you want to invite.
- Find a date: Use Free Time Finder to create a poll of dates showing exactly when everybody's actually free.
- Add other polls for anything else still up in the air — "What should we do?", "Where should we go?" — as many as you need.
Once the polls are complete, select the winning date, update the title if needed, add a location, and hit "Lock It In" to send the official invites.
checklistCoordinating What to Bring
Once an event exists, you can add one or more "What to Bring" lists — "Food & Drinks," "Games," "Supplies," whatever fits. Everyone invited can add items and claim them, so the group self-organizes without a single text asking "did anyone bring ice?"
- Starting a list is a Planner feature — once it exists, adding items and claiming them is open to everyone invited.
- Claiming an item marks it as covered. For items that need more than one (like "6 folding chairs"), several people can each claim a few until the need is met.
- Changed your mind? Unclaim an item any time to free it back up for someone else.
- What you're bringing shows up right on your own dashboard, so you don't have to remember it separately.

Lists work the same whether the event is fully locked in or still a Pre-plan chat — start coordinating supplies as soon as people are talking about it.
